This is a nicely restored 1979 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28. This Z has been rebuilt to it's former glory with some very tasteful upgrades. Painted in the iconic Transformer Bumblebee Bright Yellow, this Z28 is a real attention getter. Almost every single piece of this car has been reconditioned into what you see today. The 350 has been rebuilt with .30 over with flat top pistons, 1.94 valves and a mild hydraulic camshaft, Edelbrock Performer intake and the original Rochester 4bbl carb has been rebuilt as well as the distributor. It is more of a L48 build now and that really wakes this Z28 up.

It still has its original numbers matching Borg Warner Super T-10 4 speed transmission that has been rebuilt with a new clutch as well. A new 2.5inch dual exhaust with headers was also installed. These improvement give this Z just enough of a horse power gain to make it drive like it should have from the factory and it sound great!!

All of the suspension front and back have been rebuilt as well as new brakes . The bottom of the car is very sanitary as you can see in the pics. It still has all the original G.M panels it was born with and zero rust. The body is in exceptional condition. The car has been painted its original bright yellow in a base clear that looks ten times better then the factory original paint did. All the factory Z-28 package stripes were re installed compliments of Phoenix Graphics. It is riding on its original color matched Z-28 wheels and BF Goodrich tires are installed.
You could not begin to restore one of these for the asking price on this Camaro. Not to mention all the time and effort required to complete a restoration project. These are currently on the rise in value and now is an excellent time to get into one. If your looking for a fun investment grade muscle car without braking the bank, you might want to give this Z-28 a serious look.
