We found this life long California car still residing in the Golden State. It was sold New at Doten Pontiac in Oakland, California. 1972 was the year of the Strike and this meant production was down across the board. There were only 5,250 Formula's built that year. That is the lowest year for production of Formula's in the entire 11 year run of the 2nd Gen cars. It is a fairly loaded car with Factory Air Conditioning, Power Windows, Power Locks and a Tilt Steering Column to name a few. There are actually 24 Options listed on the Window Sticker. The base price of this Formula was $3,592 and $2,092 of options were added. That brought the selling price to an amazing $5,684. That is one expensive Formula for 1970. Condition of this rare Pontiac is outstanding. If you like collecting hard to find 2nd Gen Firebird's, then you have found your car.
