1978 Pontiac Macho Trans Am, #124, WS6, W72 400ci V8, 4spd Manual, Fisher T-Tops

Stock Number: 1775 - 1978 Macho T/A #124 Silver Anniversary Edition. There were only 4 Silver Anniversary Eedition cars built. This is the only 4 speed car, the other three were automatics. All had T-tops, and were optioned the same. They were all ordered by the same dealer in Salt Lake City, Utah. We have copies of the documentation for the work performed by Mecham and the PHS. Any Macho Trans AM is considered a very collectable car, but these 4 Silver Anniversary Cars are the Cream of the Crop.

This Macho Stayed in Utah most of its life. It was restored a few years ago in Salt Lake City, Utah. The work was professionally done with new metal installed wherever there was questionable rust. A new Base-Clear paint system was sprayed and the interior was updated with New Upholstery. The Engine and Transmission were both rebuilt. The engine received several upgraded including Edelbrock Heads and Intake. The performance is estimated to be in the 400+ HP range. A New Center Force Clutch was installed. An aluminum radiator keeps the engine running cool and an upgraded AC system keep you cool in the Hot weather. New Springs and KONI Shocks help keep that Pontiac Performance feeling crisp.
