It's unlikely you will ever see another perfectly preserved Award Winning 1981 Corvette like this again. It is a fully-loaded and mutli Award-Winning Corvette that is powered by a 350ci L81 V8 engine and 3-speed automatic transmission. It has only 3,220 carefully driven original miles. It is finished in two-tone silver and charcoal paint and the mirrored glass roof panels are in virtually perfect condition. The interior features charcoal leather seats and an 8-track player with factory CB radio.
81 was the first year some of the cars were built at Bowling Green. Cars built at Bowling Green were said to have vastly better quality than the old St Louis plant. This car came from the Bowling Green plant. It was the 456 car off the New line.
This award-winning 'Vette has earned the Bloomington Gold Survivor Award, Bloomington Gold Benchmark Award, Gold Certificate, and is an NCRS Regional Top Flight Award in 2006. The original Window Sticker, Bill of Sale, and Build Sheet are included with the car. It is safe to say you will not find a finer example anywhere.
