It is more than just low miles, it is a W72, T/A 6.6 - High output 400ci - V8 with a 4 Speed Borg Warner Super T-10 close ratio Transmission. It is a Best In Class configuration and the real "Last of Breed" Trans AM. It is an original panel, and paint car. That is not to say that something hasn't been touched up somewhere in its nearly 50 years of life. I am sure the wheel flares were touched up a time or two, but the main car is all original and as nice as you are likely ever going to find. It was sold new at Don Danskin Pontiac in Marshtown, IA. It is 1 of only 2,917 built with this configuration. 1979 was the last year for the Big Cubic Inch Pontiac Engine. Production was very limited and these are a must have for any true muscle car collection or if you are going to have just one Trans AM, this is it!
